In this reality game, teens start in high school and have part time jobs. They will be faced with money and life decisions like buying cars, managing expenses, giving back to their community, paying for college, using credit cards, buying stocks and starting businesses. The winner is the teen that not only generates income and makes positive financial decisions, but also effectively manages their time and does good for those around them.

• This game is designed to teach general social, financial and business principles.
• Active and Passive Businesses allow you to make entrepreneuial decisions and how you can start, purchase, grow and sell a business based on the decisions you make.
• Thrive Score: Measures the decisions you make. Good decisions = positive Thrive; Poor decisions = negative Thrive.
• BIZtime: You already have commitments with school, job and your social life. You have 15 hours available each week for new activities and projects. This is called your BIZtime.
• Income Statement: This is where you track the money you make (IN) and the money you spend (OUT) each month.

The staff at the Arizona Society of CPAs played Thrive Time recently and found it to be not only educational, thought provoking and competitive--but lots of fun!
