This Board Games give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Have fun and learn or review what you know!
We spent many months studying Lewis and Clark and the Corps of Discovery's journey. To wrap things up, we played this game. We absolutely loved it!
My kids, ages 9 & 8, did very well with all of their questions on the beginner level, sometimes without the multiple choice options! Children can play against adults and still win depending on who lands on the trivia question spaces first-- and then you have to choose the category with a spin. My son won both times we played this game because of this.
If you don't know much about Lewis & Clark, this game is a great way to learn. Read aloud the information on the spaces as you land on them; some of the questions are taken directly from the board! Multiple choice and true/false makes it easier too.
2. kids learning history
This game comes with a variety of tokens to get children excited about earning each one. They also get to maneuver in a time in history that reveals much about the struggles in exploring territory without the help of REI. I recommend this game because it allows much talk of what had to be endured as well as what was enjoyed in the discovery of new plants and animals. I have played with with my 3rd grader, who is 8 years old, and feel that we will be playing it at least once a month for pure enjoyment.
