1. excellent imagination toy
Every child who has come to our house has loved this game. At each turn you get to do something and after you have collected three animals you get to go tell a story. It's great for developing verbal and storytelling skills while still being fun. While this game has a lot of educational value, it never feels like an educational game. While the age range is up to age 8, we've had kids as old as ten play and still enjoy it.

I love this game!!! My 5 year old son loves it too! He has high functioning autism, so has problems with creative thinking. This game has really help broaden his creative funtioning. I believe that all youngsters will enjoy out doing there parents with creativity in this great story telling game. The grab bag is a big plus, because they can't wait to see what they will get on the next turn. The only thing to watch out for is that the toys in the grab bag are all chokies for children under three.

I cannot recommend this game enough! We just finished playing it for the first time with our 3 1/2 year old. All of us had a ball listening to each other's stories, which got pretty creative at times. Play is as follows: spin a spinner to determine whether you move your game piece one, two, three or four spaces in a turn. If your game piece lands on a star symbol, you get to blindly draw a plastic toy animal out of a bag. If your game piece lands on a sun symbol, you can trade one of your animals for someone else's. If your game piece lands on a heart symbol, you get to give one of your animals to someone else. When your game piece lands on a picture of either a school, a playground, a beach, a farm or a house, if you have collected at least three animals, then you get to make up a story in that setting that involves all of the animals that you have.
The stories your children make up will be little treasures. I would recommend having the video camera handy when you first...
